EUGENE L. ANTENUCCI, DDS, FAGD, DICOI, FICD, FACD

Profile Picture of DoctorDr. Eugene Antenucci has devoted hundreds of hours to learning the most advanced techniques in dentistry in order to provide his patients with the best dental care available. In the process, he has created one of the most well respected dental practices not only in Long Island, but throughout the United States.

Dr.. Antenucci is a 1983 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He was awarded his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1992, his Fellowship in the American College of Dentists in 1999, his Fellowship in the International College of Dentists in 2005 and Diplomate Status in the International College of Oral Implantologists in 2011. He served as a Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics and Occlusion from 1989 thru 2004, and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University from 1995 thru 2002 in the Department of General Dentistry. He is an Attending Dentist at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, and currently serves as a Clincial Associate after attending the two-year Continuum in Implant Surgical Training at the New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Antenucci began his dental career as a United States Air Force Dentist and Captain. When He returned to New York in 1987 his private practice developed and grew into the state-of -the-art dental facility in Huntington which today serves the patients of Huntington, and also is home to a continuing dental education training center for dentists as well as a commercial Dental Laboratory. Huntington Bay Dental, was distinguished as “Dental Practice of the Month” by Dental Economics in May, 2003, and “Business of the Year” by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Antenucci is a certified Cerec Basic and Advanced Training Instructor, and has conducted training seminars throughout the States. He has worked with Cerec technology since 1996. He is a National Spokesperson for Planmeca Corporation, and conducts training and seminars for dentists in the clinical utilization of Cone Beam Imaging Technology, with an emphasis on implant treatment planning. In addition, Dr. Antenucci trains dentists in the use of lasers in the restorative dental practice.

Dr. Antenucci is Past President of the Suffolk County Dental Society, Past-President of the New York State Academy of General Dentistry, and Past-President of the New York State Academy of Laser Dentistry. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the New York State Academy of General Dentistry, and has served on numerous occasions as National Delegate for the NYSAGD at the AGD National Meeting. Dr Antenucci is past Chairman of the AGD Council on Annual Meetings and International Conferences, and the Past General Chairman for the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting. He has worked with the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office performing forensic services related to the TWA Flight 800 disaster, and with the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office performing Forensic dental services related to September 11.

Dr. Antenucci lectures internationally, conducting seminars in the clinical utilization of advanced technology in dentistry, as well as seminars in cosmetic dentistry, practice management, Cerec, 3D Imaging and Laser training. Dr. Antenucci serves on the Board of Benefactors of the Guide Dog Foundation and America’s Vet Dogs, and is also an active member of the National Italian American Foundation, serving as the New York Area Coordinator for the organization. Dr. Antenucci resides in Laurel Hollow, New York.

ROSEANN CAVALLARO, DDS

Dr. Roseann Cavallaro is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine (1991). She is a member of the American Dental Association and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cavallaro is dedicated to continually keeping pace with the latest advances in all phases of dentistry, which is why she completes numerous hours of continuing dental education annually. Dr. Cavallaro is also certified to design and use both Invisalign® invisible braces and CEREC® single-day ceramic crowns and restorations.

LARISSA FIGARI, DDS, FICOI

 Dr. Larissa Figari received her BS at Fairfield University in Connecticut. She continued her education receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from SUNY at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Figari then completed a two-year General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital. She was then selected to continue at North Shore completing a Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. She focused intensely on the placement of implants and constructing teeth which are connected to implants.

She attends continuing education lectures monthly, has attended Dawson Courses and has begun training through the Kois Center. She has been trained in CEREC® single visit crowns/ onlays and Invisalign®. She has focused on further training in oral sleep appliances to assist in treating sleep apnea. She has extensive oral surgery background including dental extractions as well as implant surgery. She has worked with many phobic patients and deliberately takes the time to work with these patients on an individual basis. Dr.Figari is experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant dentistry, and restorative dentistry. Her goal is to give each patient the best treatment all under one roof.

She is currently working on her Masters in Public Health at Stony Brook in order to educate and provide dentistry nationally and internationally annually while travelling. She has traveled to Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, and Kenya to provide dental treatment to patients in need.

In 2011, Dr. Figari established herself as a partner at Huntington Bay Dental.

She is a member of several professional organizations. American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Suffolk County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Raised on Long Island where she remains part of the community. She enjoys boating, skiing/snowboarding, travelling, pilates, spending time with friends and family and helping her patient’s look and feel their best.

ADAMO NOTARANTONIO, DDS, FICOI

Dr. Adamo Notarantonio is a 2002 graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of    Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Adamo is a Certified Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Trainer for the CEREC 3D® chairside CAD/CAM system. He has completed The Dawson Academy Core Curriculum Series, dedicated to teaching the principles and skills necessary for the successful practice of complete, quality, predictable dentistry with primary concentration on occlusion and the TMJ. Dr. Adamo is currently training at the Kois Center under Dr. John Kois. He is certified in the surgical placement of dental implants, Invisalign® invisible braces, and CEREC® single visit crowns onlays. Dr. Adamo is highly experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, and has recently received his fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

 

Dr. Adamo volunteers for the AACD’s Give Back A Smile (GBAS) program. This program aims to heal the effects of domestic violence by providing free consultation and dental treatment to restore the smiles of survivors of domestic violence.

 

Dr. Adamo is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which is recognized as reaching the highest level of technical skill and ability in cosmetic dentistry. He is only one of two dentists in all of Suffolk County to achieve this status. Accreditation serves to set standards for excellence in cosmetic dentistry. Achieving Accredited status from the AACD requires dedication to continuing education, careful adherence to the protocols, and a resolve to produce exceptional dentistry. He is fluent in Italian.
